Who we are

Kirsten Bjerregaard (left) started the company in 1967 in order to promote good design internationally.
Her daughter Birgitte Bjerregaard joined the company 19 years ago and runs World Pictures today.

Two generations

World Pictures is a Danish, family-owned publishing house, specialising in richly illustrated design publications for professionals and private design lovers all over the world.

Among our most well known titles are Design from Denmark, Denmark Special and Design from Scandinavia.

We also produce high quality design promotion material for press and public and organize and arrange design exhibition, events and fairs together with local partners.
